Open White by Roger & Gallet Cologne. Launched in 2013, Open White is a soft spicy floral scent for both men and women.
Top notes open with citrusy scents of bergamot and yuzu with licorice smelling anise. Violet and incense bring out the heart of the fragrance while patchouli, tonka bean and iris ground the base. The mild, sweet anise scent is made to last all day with the other essences working to compliment the licorice scent.
Founded in 1862, Roger & Gallet is the child of Charles Armand
Roger and Charles Martial Gallet. Originally, the company’s fame came from their luxurious round bath soaps. Their fragrance blends use essential oils and rare plants in art deco bottles and wrapping. In 2008, L’Oreal bought the company, but still brings the perfumery tradition to the fore. This is an old French perfume house whose oldest perfume was created in 1806 by Jean Marie Farina.
