Archives 69 by Etat Libre d'Orange Perfume.
The warm spiciness of Archives 69 evokes a fragrant summer night outdoors, with hints of incense and camphor drifting out from the open doors of a nearby church. The top notes of mandarin orange and paprika transport you to a late walk through spicy, citrusy foliage. Then, the garden gives way to notes of incense and orchid. The base notes of musk, patchouli, and camphor lend the perfume a spiritual, otherworldly feeling.
The clear, rectangular
bottle has a bullseye logo folded over its edge, making the image look halved. This scent was released in 2011. Etat Libre D'Orange was founded by Etienne de Swardt in 2006 in France. The perfume house’s mission is to challenge the norms within the fragrance industry by embracing sexuality through its scents and visual and by refusing to assign gender to its perfumes. The packaging is created with stark simplicity in mind, with distinct visual moods for each product designed by the graphics team Ich & Kar.
