The fragrance starts with tomato leaf, violet leaf, and green mandarin head notes. Bellflower, violet, tuberose, and frangipani middle notes follow, with sandalwood, cedar, and musk making up the base notes. This fragrance, which wears well during spring days, is housed in a simple glass flacon with a distinctive round purple cap.
Stella McCartney is a
British fashion designer who began her career as an intern for Christian Lacroix and Edward Sexton, the tailor to her father, Sir Paul McCartney of the Beatles. She studied fashion at Central St. Martin’s college and sold her graduation runway show collection to a London retailer. She secured licensing deals with major retailers and became the creative director of Chloe from 1997-2001. Working with the Gucci Group, she established her eponymous brand. The first fragrance was launched in 2003, and Procter and Gamble is the current fragrance license holder.
Despite being known as the daughter of Paul, Stella McCartney has been able to successfully make a name for herself in the world of fashion.
