Roger & Gallet is one of the oldest perfume houses in France. It was founded in 1862 by perfumers Charles Armand Roger and Charles Martial Gallet. They purchased the catalogue of a much older company with roots back to 1806. They launched a division of perfumed soaps in 1879 and today sell candles as well.
Merchant Charles Armand Roger and banker Charles Martial Gallet founded the French perfume company, Roger & Gallet, in 1862 when they purchased the family fragrance business of Jean Marie Farina.
