Rihanna Rogue Cologne by Rihanna

Rihanna Rogue Cologne

Rihanna Rogue by Rihanna Cologne. Launched in 2014 as Rihanna’s first fragrance designed specifically for men, Rihanna Rogue Man is a deeply complex and alluring blend that has woman begging for more face time. The zesty citrus top notes of bergamot and clementine layer into spicy black pepper and herbaceous rosemary to create an exotic, oriental mix, while a tonka bean accent offers up an enduring base note that lingers on your skin for a scent that lasts all day.

"Cheapie, but a goodie"

First off, I have to give Rihanna credit for this contemporary celebscent release. I know many people have described Rogue Man as a unisex smell, I agree, but it shifts more to the masculine side as oppose to the feminine side. When I first sprayed Rogue Man on my wrist, the smell reminded me of Dolce & Gabbana (The One) EDT version, however, The One has a heavy dose of tobacco and Rogue Man has no tobacco in the juice. The first spray is citrusy, peppery opening with a little heavy on the citrusy but spicy at the same time. After an hour or so, the vanilla orchid and cedar kick in and it's amazing. The tonka bean, sandalwood come into the mix after a heavy dose of the heart notes. Overall, a home run by Rihanna. Smell is good; projection is great; sillage can de detected from a good distance. I would categorize it to be used in the fall or winter at best, day or night. I also feel a guy can rock this in the spring time because of the citrusy aromatic opening.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
