Monsieur Beauregard by Penhaligon's Cologne. Monsieur Beauregard is a refined blend of woody and spicy accords.
Introduced in 2017, this fragrance is sophisticated and subtly masculine, perfect for a man who prefers a scent that is not over-the-top. It starts off with notes of lemon and pink pepper, an energetic and spicy opening. As you get into the heart of the fragrance, you find notes of cinnamon, orris root and benzoin, which are all warming and earthy. The cologne closes with notes of
patchouli, sandalwood and tonka bean, giving it a woody and deep finish.
Penhaligon’s was founded in 1870 in London by William Penhaligon. It initially opened as a barbershop, but he turned his focus to perfumery after his first fragrance was released in 1872. The company has received Royal Warrants from the Duke of Edinburgh and the Princess of Wales. Many of the original scents have been modernized and are still sold today.
