Montale Orange Flowers by Montale Perfume. Montale Orange Flowers is a women’s and men’s Oriental floral fragrance that was introduced in 2015.
The head notes are lemon, mandarin orange, and spices. At the heart are notes of honey, ylang-ylang, patchouli, orange blossom, and jasmine. Vanilla, cedar, oakmoss, and white musk comprise the base notes. Best for spring day wear, this fragrance is contained in a copper-colored aluminum flacon with gold accents.
Perfumer Pierre Montale first worked
in the perfume industry in his family’s company, Comptoir Sud Pacifique. After fifteen years, the family sold the business and the perfumer worked for Saudi Arabian royalty and aristocrats. He decided to return to Paris, France, in 2003 to launch his own niche perfume house, featuring Arab ingredients such as oud, incense, sandalwood, and cedar. A second brand, Mancera, was launched to offer fresher, lighter versions of the Arab-inspired scents. The brand’s Paris shop opened in 2015 and is located at the corner of the Champs-Elysees.
