The top notes are osmanthus and mandarin orange, followed by middle notes of tiare flower and lotus. Guaiac wood, vetiver, and moss make up the base notes. Pierre Montale is the nose for this fragrance, which wears best on summer days. The fragrance is held in an aluminum bottle that has a blue-to-gold ombre effect.

The perfumer had his start in the perfume business with Comptoir Sud Pacifique, which he and his family founded and ran for fifteen years until his sister decided to sell the business. The perfumer then spent a significant amount of time in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Qatar, before returning to Paris, France and launched his eponymous brand, which focuses on oud-based fragrances.
