This perfume was created in 2014 to celebrate the opening of the first Lalique store in Paris. Top notes in this scent comprise peach and sweet apricot, which lend a fruity air to the fragrance, while heart notes of osmanthus and star rose create the floral aroma. Base notes of cashmere wood, musk, and osmanthus absolute add a woody and leather
finishing note. Rose Royale is contained in a tall and luxurious black and gold flagon with side cutouts and a black stopper with a gold emblem embedded in the top.
Rene Lalique was a French designer who designed jewelry, glassware, and eventually perfume bottles, working with Francois Coty to create legendary flagons that are considered treasures today. Lalique’s idea to sell perfume in individually designed bottles helped the perfume industry move from the small-scale to large-scale production that exists today.
René Jules Lalique is born on April 6,1860, in the village of Ay, in the Champagne region of France. Two years later, his father, a Parisian mercantile agent, moves his family to a suburb of Paris. They return to Ay for summer holidays, and Lalique will have a lifelong attachment to his native countryside. In 1872 Enters Collège Turgot where he begins studying drawing with Justin-Marie Lequien.
