Lalique Amethyst Eclat was introduced in 2014 as a floral fruity fragrance with additional sweet and fresh accords. Offered in a gorgeous square plum bottle with floral accents, its top notes mingle the distinctively tangy essence of black current with sharp, sweet red raspberries and juicy Nashi pears. Next, the middle notes feature a fragrant combination of rose, peony and magnolia. Its base notes include musk with tones of blackberry and the light
sweetly sour note of the violet wood sorrel, also known as Oxalis violace.
Lalique began as a French company offering designer glassware, initially focused on crafting beautiful glass flacons to house luxury perfumes. The brand launched its own fragrance label in the early 1990s, going on to produce 70 scents of its own. 2018’s releases include Hirondelles and L’Insoumis Ma Force. Notable noses creating the house’s scents include famous perfumers such as Christine Nagel, Jean-Claude Ellena and Anne Flipo.
René Jules Lalique is born on April 6,1860, in the village of Ay, in the Champagne region of France. Two years later, his father, a Parisian mercantile agent, moves his family to a suburb of Paris. They return to Ay for summer holidays, and Lalique will have a lifelong attachment to his native countryside. In 1872 Enters Collège Turgot where he begins studying drawing with Justin-Marie Lequien.
