This unisex perfume has a lot of personality to it, and it brings a touch of energy and freshness once applied. The top notes you will initially be introduced to include lemon and pink grapefruit. These fruity accords are followed closely by scents of hedione, rose, peach and tea. To close out the composition are woody notes along with white musk and leather.
Kenzo has been a
premier fashion house since the 1970s. The founder of the company is from Japan, but after graduating college, he moved to France. It was there that he started creating his own fashions, and people became enamored with the Japanese influences. It was in 1987 that the brand started an official fragrance division, but perfumes were created by the company earlier than that. The composition for Totem Yellow was created by Christophe Raynaud.
Kenzo had his breakout year in 1970 when he presented his first collection to positive reviews, opened his first store, Jungle Jap, and had one of his designs worn on the cover of ELLE magazine. With his new found popularity Kenzo was able to present his next collections in New York and Tokyo.
