One of these fragrances is Kenzo Totem Orange. This perfume was designed for anyone who has the desire to make the planet just a little bit more beautiful. It has a truly remarkable composition with opening notes of bitter orange and lemon for an immediate citrusy experience. Sweetness is provided within the heart with notes of peach, fig tree and
lemon blossom. To ground everything is a base consisting of white musk, vetiver, cedar and cacao.
After graduating from the Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, Kenzo Takada founded his own fashion house. He moved to Paris in 1964 and started selling apparel that became instant hits. His clothing became reputable for its Japanese influences, and it was not long until the brand started making fragrances. Olivier Pescheux and Nathalie Gracia-Cetto are the perfumers who created Totem Orange.
Kenzo had his breakout year in 1970 when he presented his first collection to positive reviews, opened his first store, Jungle Jap, and had one of his designs worn on the cover of ELLE magazine. With his new found popularity Kenzo was able to present his next collections in New York and Tokyo.
