Sans Un Mot by Jovoy Perfume. Released in 2015, Sans Un Mot is a women’s fragrance with woody, powdery and floral main accords.
The scent opens with sweet mandarin orange spiced with pink pepper. Vanilla and black current add a delightful twist to the floral notes of violet, rose, iris and ylang-ylang blooming in the heart. White musk and woody notes ground the fragrance in the dry down. The scent works well year-round from day until night with a moderate sillage and longevity. The bottle looks
like a prized clutch purse complete with gold cap.
Jovoy Paris is a French fragrance house founded in 1923 by Blanche Arvoy. After launching four perfumes with animal-shaped bottles, Corday launched the following year. Blanche was inspired by the French revolutionary participant Charlotte Codray. When Corday stopped production in the ‘60s, she combined the two houses into Jovoy-Corday. The new line uses perfumers such as Cecile Zarokian, Bertrand Buchaufour, Amandine Clerc-Marie, Daniel Moliere and Vanina Muracciole.
