Questions and Answers

Q: How does Serge Lutens L'eau D'armoise Perfume smell?

A: With the artemisia note front and center, this perfume has a wonderfully fresh, herbal and green foundation. The opening is lighter and brighter thanks to the influence of the bergamot. When that note fades, you are left with a deep, warm sweetness brought on the by the immortelle. It almost feels like a longing for lost time, lost love, lost memories.

Q: Where do you apply L'eau D'armoise?

A: To increase the longevity of the fragrance, spray onto your major pulse points such as behind your ears, at the base of your neck, on the wrists, behind the knees and in the inner elbows.

Q: What is the fragrance concentration?

A: L'eau D'armoise is an Eau De Parfum. EDPs typically have an essential oil concentration of 15-20%. This is a generous amount which should give you plenty of longevity and sillage.

A: Serge Lutens intends for his perfumes to be unisex, and this one definitely fits that category. It is such an unusual fragrance with true chameleon capabilities that anyone who wants to try something new can wear it.

A: As an EDP, this perfume provides a nice longevity. Most wearers report five to six hours of good fragrance before it becomes an intimate skin scent. This will depend upon factors such as your body chemistry and the environment, of course. You can always spray the scent on your clothing for more hours of wear and greater sillage.

Q: What fragrances smell similar?

A: Serge Lutens L'eau D'armoise Perfume is quite a unique, niche scent. There is nothing else quite like it. For fragrances in a similar vein, consider Aedes de Venustas EDP, Eau De Parfum 21 from The Fragrance Vault and Mugler Cologne.

Q: What season should I wear L'eau D'armoise?
