Hermes Un Jardin A Cythere Perfume

Details and Care for Un Jardin A Cythere

Un Jardin A Cythere is a citrus woody fragrance launched by the French luxury brand Hermès in 2023. As part of Hermès' acclaimed Parfums-Jardins collection, Un Jardin A Cythere evokes a garden on the isolated Greek isle of Cythera, where the love goddess Aphrodite was said to have lived. In the style of the entire Parfums-Jardins collection, Un Jardin A Cythere uses simple yet unusual notes to perfectly capture the natural beauty of its chosen locale. This scent combines sundried grasses, a hint of citrus, nutty olive wood and pistachio for a uniquely Meditteranean journey.

Questions and Answers

Q: How does Un Jardin A Cythere smell?

A: Un Jardin A Cythere smells like a blond, dry, crisp garden of grasses blowing in a sea wind. The base of olive wood gives a comforting strength and presence to the fragrance, while the green aroma of pistachio entices. Un Jardin A Cythere is a woody fragrance unlike any other.

Q: Where do you apply Un Jardin A Cythere?

A: To increase the longevity of the fragrance, spray onto your major pulse points such as behind your ears, at the base of your neck, on the wrists, behind the knees and in the inner elbows.

Q: What is the fragrance concentration?

A: Un Jardin A Cythere is an eau de perfume, or EDP, which has a greater ratio of perfume oil to alcohol base than an eau de toilette, or EDT. The subtle notes of grass and pistachio shine through with this rich concentration.

Q: Is Un Jardin A Cythere for him or her?

A: Un Jardin A Cythere, like the entire Perfums-Jardins collection, uses unique notes that blend and twist the standards of both women's and men's perfumery. These sophisticated scents transform to suit any wearer.

Q: Does Un Jardin A Cythere last long?

A: Un Jardin A Cythere is an EDP with a high concentration of perfume oils, but the scents it captures are naturally ephemeral and light. This fragrance lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours with one application. The citrus top notes fade quickly as it dries down to an olive oil-tinted woody base with hints of grass. Skin chemistry and environmental factors always impact which notes persist, especially when dealing with simple and airy scents.

Q: What fragrances smell similar?

A: Hermès Un Jardin Sur La Lagune, Versace Eros, Tom Ford Costa Azzurra
