Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain, the perfume house Guerlain has long embodied the passionate, luxurious history of French perfumes. The company has produced such famous fragrances as Shalimar (1925) and Vetiver (1959). The house was family-owned and run until its 1994 acquisition by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (Lvmh). The flagship boutique and main office at 68 Champs-Elysées, Paris, also operates as a museum.
