Sweet and full of violets
This is a very strong, very sweet violet fragrance that lasts and lasts. It has artificial berry in it as well. In fact, the fragrance is so strong that it lasted all day and overnight on me. The fragrance is quality, but it's a little too sugary sweet for my personal tastes. It's not a dated fragrance, it does smell modern.

Used to loved this perfume, but it's changed. New bottle, lesser smelling perfume! This was my second time trying it in the new packaging, no longer as lasting and a more powdery scent. So very disappointed. No complaints about perfume.com, quick delivery! Won't purchase again!

Really disappointed, new packaging and a new scent. No one ever compliments when I wear it. It's distinctively different, more powder less floral, does not last at all!

I would buy it again
I bought that bottle because Guerlain changed the packaging, and I guess, little by little, will discontinue Insolence to focus in the blockbusters (La petite robe noire, My Guerlain) This perfume explodes with fresh violets to settle in a creamy and powdery fragrance of santal. Unique. Not the best guerlain for me but still a jewel.

It's soft but lingers, not overpowering, sexy, and sensual. Just to name a few perfumes I love so you know my taste, Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel, J'adore, Chloe, Tom Ford Orchid, Daisy by Marc Jacobs, and Euphoria (silver bottle). If you like any or all of these perfumes, you will love this one too!!

Nice scent
Nice crisp,slightly sweet scent with violet and berry notes, and a touch of orange blossom. Perfect for everyday use, especially in the warmer spring and summer months. It's never overpowering, but softly lingers. Guerlain's packaging is also lovely, in a frosted and sculpted glass spray bottle. A very enjoyable purchase!
