Launched in September 2016, Gianfranco Ferre L'uomo is masculinity and luxury combed in a fresh and spicy scent for every gentleman. A collection from the makers fashion house that was inspired by uniforms in 1982 is what the cologne is dedicated too. Top notes kick up the warmth with cardamom, black pepper, ginger, and bergamot. Artemisia, sage, green apple, and violet are the herbal and fruity middle notes. The woody base notes complete the
bouquet with cedar, sandalwood, amber, moss, and sweet vanilla.
Gianfranco Ferre was called “the Architect of Fashion.” His amazing Italian designs and background in architecture combined for a renowned collection. From raincoats to haute couture, Ferre embraced all matters of design. In 1989 he was made Christian Dior’s Stylistic Director. Ferre became a six-time winner of the Occhio d’Prp fashion award for Best Italian Designer. His Dior collection also became award-winning. Though Ferre passed away at the young age of 62 in 2007, his brand lives on.
