Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle Perfume. Carnal Flower is a women’s floral perfumer that was launched in 2005.
It starts with head notes of melon, bergamot, and eucalyptus, then continues to heart notes of jasmine, ylang-ylang, and tuberose. Base notes of tuberose, orange blossom, musk, and coconut finish this blend. This fragrance works well for all-day wear through the spring and summer months. The glass flacon has a black band that shows the brand name and the perfumer’s name in white and
the fragrance name in red.
Frederic Malle is a perfumer who founded his namesake brand in 2000. With 15 years of experience at perfume laboratory Roure Bertrand Dupont, he created a new venture where he invited nine perfumers to create individual perfumes with no restrictions. The founder, who refers to himself as an editor of perfumes, regularly invites perfumers, or “authors,” to “publish” new fragrances. This scent was created by Dominique Ropion of International Flavors and Fragrances and inspired by Malle’s aunt, actress Candice Bergen. The brand was acquired by Estee Lauder in 2014.
