Scuderia Ferrari was established in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari. Initially, he was hired by Alfa Romea to prepare drivers to race, but he eventually graduated to the head of the company’s motor racing department before leaving. When he left, he was prohibited to race or design his own line of cars for four years, so it wasn’t until 1940 that he released his first vehicle, under the name of his car parts company, Auto-Avoi Costruzioni. In 1947, the first Ferrari was debuted. After successfully establishing its luxury vehicle line, the savvy entrepreneur felt safe to pursue other endeavors, including forming a perfume line.
