Une Amourette Roland Mouret by Etat Libre d'Orange Perfume.
As its name implies, Une Amourette Roland Mouret is the result of a collaboration with the French clothing designer. Mouret is a longtime fan of Etienne de Swardt, the founder of Etat Libre d’Orange. Together, they created a powdery and floral scent that first hit the market in 2017. The perfume features iris and neroli alongside akigalawood and vanilla absolute.
Etienne de Swardt created his company after becoming disillusioned with
the perfume industry. The native South African named his brand after the 19th-century autonomous republic known for its beauty and independence. He brings those same qualities to his fragrances. He thinks that perfume companies focus too much on simple scents because they believe that is what the public wants. However, de Swardt is not afraid to create scandalous or flamboyant perfumes. Indeed, he refuses to let convention hold him back. He even promotes erotic or sexual images in his fragrances.
