Escentric 02 by Escentric Molecules Cologne.
Escentric 02 was released in 2008 as part of a series of scents based on laboratory created scent molecules. The main ingredient in this fragrance is Ambroxan, an artificially created fragrance very similar to ambergris, with a smooth, creamy warmth. This fragrance also contains other molecules that mimic more familiar scents such as musk, iris and green jasmine. The opening notes are crisp and citrusy, with a whiff of lemon and elderflower and
orris. The dry-down is slightly powdery with a woody note. This fragrance unfolds slowly and lasts from day into evening. Marketed as a unisex fragrance, it is designed to interact with each wearer’s body chemistry to create a unique, signature fragrance.
Escentric Molecules uses created molecules to mimic the scents of nature. Their highly successful formulations are the work of Geza Schoen, who has launched several new, synthetic fragrances since 2006. The company was founded in Germany and focuses entirely on fragrances using created scent molecules.
