Lavender fields around Florence, Italy influenced Guido Galardi to create the original Bois (pronounced "boyce") 1920 perfumery in 1920. The original company closed in 1925, but its historic legacy inspired Guido's grandson Enzo to revive the family business in 2005 in order to create new fragrances based on the antique recipes handed down through the generations. Now a part of Perfume Atelier Artistic Firenze, this fragrance maker has created over 30 fragrances, creating Relativamente Rosso in 2013.
