men and women. The top notes are a bright and bracing blend of pungent bergamot and sparkling Italian lemon softened by petit grain, geranium and artemisia and spiced with clove. Sandalwood and cedar mingle with patchouli, lavender and green, earthy vetiver to form a floral and wood heart. Galbanum, tawny-rich amber and French labdanum laced with
musk and tobacco combine to produce an irresistible yet subtle vanilla finish that lingers for hours.
Pronounced "boyce", the Italian perfume house Bois was established in 1920 by Guido Galardi. Galardi's first signature scents were inspired by the semi-wild fields of lavender covering the hillsides surrounding Florence. The original company closed in 1925 after only five years. However, his grandson Enzo Galardi revived the perfume house in 2005. Enzo continues to create exquisite contemporary fragrances: modern interpretations of his grandfather's fine Italian perfumes.
