Oud Save The King by Atkinsons Cologne. Oud Save the King is one of four new fragrances introduced in 2013 to celebrate Atkinsons' 200th anniversary.
The Oud Collection is meant to evoke the period of rich cultural exchange between English and Oriental civilizations. 'Save the King' is as extravagant as it is elegant, combining the modern and the exotic to produce a striking oud accord. The leading notes are an intoxicating infusion of earl grey bergamot and iris, which transition smoothly to a
heart of suede and orris wood. The base notes of powder and wood provide a smooth finish that is clean yet lingering.
This London perfume house was first established in 1799 by James Atkinson. Eventually the company and its iconic bear emblem became immensely popular with the highest ranks of society, an exclusive worldwide clientele and was even appointed even special perfumer to the Royal English Court. The Oud Collection includes, Oud Save the Queen, Oud Save the King, Her Majesty the Oud and His Majesty the Oud.
