I Love, Love, Love New West!
I have been wearing this fragrance since it's introduction in 1988. It's a complicated fragrance from a formula point of view, but a fairly simple scent once on the skin. What drew me to this fragrance was that it reminded me of a cedar / hickory smoke wafting through the air, along side the salty air of the ocean. It has a clean, yet woodsy, scent and is my, "Go to," fragrance on hot, humid summer days / nights. I met my last girlfriend at an outdoor barbecue because she just couldn't stop herself from trying to get close enough to me...to smell me. This juice was like olfactory crack to her. Obviously, we started dating because we had a lot more in common than just how my skin smelled. But, hey! New West was sure a great introduction!

New West is a great cologne that stands tha test of time
I love this scent. I often where it even when staying at home just because I love this scent. It is reasonably priced allowing me to not have to limit its use. This scent has been around since the 80's and has stood the test of time. One of my favorites.

Not the same as the original
The original was the better smell it lasted all. The new west you get today is a weaker smell doesn't last long. I'VE Been using this when it first came to market love the sent. Women love the sent too. Just wish they didn't change the lasting affect of the sent. Bottom line they need to go back to the old mix and not water it down
