Unique chypre

Amouage is my favorite house. Opus 1 is not one of their typical offerings. Definitely spicy and floral in the orientalist style, but has a bitterness that reminds me of oak moss which makes this more of a chypre. Mind you, the bitterness comes from something other than moss. Try before you buy. Not going to appeal to everyone. Not typically "sexy" but more intellectual. An interesting beginning to the Opus range.
