Yardley Freesia & Bergamot by Yardley London Perfume.
Blending floral, citrus, spicy and woody accords, Yardley Freesia & Bergamot offers a delightful sensory experience. This women’s fragrance opens with vibrant top notes of bergamot, mandarin and lemon paired with herbaceous and green cypress. Ginger and pepper contrast with freesia and lily of the valley floral notes in the heart. Ending with amber, musk and sandalwood, this fragrance’s base notes create a warm and satisfying dry-down.
Yardley London’s origins start with the Cleaver family, who produced artfully crafted soaps with classic botanicals such as lavender and English rose. Both varieties remain popular today, with the lavender sourced from a special cultivar grown in southern England. During the 1800s, the company was renamed Yardley and Statham and flourished under Charles Yardley’s ownership. By the mid-20th century, Yardley owned several retail stores and regularly exported to the United States. Debuting its first fragrance in 1801, Yardley has released over 95 men’s, women’s and unisex scents.
