Xj 1861 Zefiro by Xerjoff Perfume. An undeniably refined, beautifully balanced spicy oriental fragrance, Xj 1861 Zefiro harmonizes elements of
balsamic resins, aromatic spice, sheer florals, precious woods and a touch of thick honey. The opening is a fresh, balsamic effusion of elemi resin and white wine must mingled with fruity-aromatic bergamot and piquant, bitter green hints of lovely artemisia. Earthy yet ethereal florals bloom at the heart, merging powdery, shimmering iris and carnation
with alluring nuances of cinnamon and cardamom. A warm, almost creamy base combines blended woody notes and magnetic amber with rich undertones of honey and a dark whisper of smoky incense.
This scent was created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin and released by the niche Italian designer Xerjoff in 2015. The fragrance is part of the Xj 1861 Collection: an exclusive series of compositions released in dedication to the 150th anniversary of Italy’s reunification. The 1861 trio also includes the spicy citrus aromatic fragrance Renaissance and the sweet, spicy aromatic scent Naxos.
