Thrilled to have Byzance back…
I loved Biesanz back in the 80s and 90s and was all but destroyed when it appeared to be discontinued as I could not find it anywhere! When I found it at fragrancex.com I was ecstatic. Sadly it's not the same designs that we knew back then, but it still has a really nice fragrance and I'm glad I got it. The only downside is that it's not long lasting. That's disheartening because when you pay that kind of money for a bottle of fragrance you expect to be able to smell it in the middle of the day or on into the evening! I don't find it lasting long enough, but I still love the smell and the new stylized bottle is awfully pretty too!

Byzance 2019
Very disappointed in the new Byzance. Whatever they changed it doesn't work with me. I used this perfume for years until it was out off stock/discontinued. Nothing like the original. It has dull unwashed smell. Not sure if this batch I received is spoiled or this is what it is supposed to smell,but definitely not original. I still have a halffull bottle of the original and I can assure you the new Byzance is nothing like the old one. Very disappointed.

Absolute rubbish is most definitely not exactly the same as the original. Even the bottle is very different. If you have worn the Original BYZANCE BY madam rochas then you will know that this is no where near the beautiful original BYZANCE.

My mom was a big fan of Lalique. I had been in Lalique and the Lalique perfume was about $125. I am willing to pay for top brands, but I just didn't want it bad enough - it was, after all, my mom's scent. When I saw it offered, the price was perfect balance for my desire, and I bought it. It arrived quickly in a box with appropriate markings for a tester, so I do believe it's real. I have used it a few times. It does not last all day. The top note is floral, but it does have some layers of complexity and does settle into some elements of spice. I feel the scent is good for daytime wear or a lighter signature scent. The Lalique bottle is cute on the shelf. I cannot fault this scent, especially at this price. If Lalique is your bag, then this is your deal.

So hard to find
I bought this for my sister who introduced me to it many years ago. I bought her a bottle once in China Town NYC, and one for me in Ross in Vegas and haven't seen a bottle of it since.
