Two years later, founder William Penhaligon introduced a fragrance called Hamman Bouquet, which was inspired by a Turkish bath and its sulfurous steam. In 1902, the company launched Blenheim Bouquet, which was created for the Duke of Marlborough. Fragrances were continuously released until the original shop was destroyed in 1941. Even without the shop, the perfumes lived on until it fell into obscurity. However, when interest was renewed, a new flagship store was built in 1975. Spanish fragrance and fashion company Puig owns the brand.
