Bayolea by Penhaligon's Cologne. Bayolea is a men’s cologne that is fresh, light and invigorating.
It was released in 2014 in a fashionable glass flacon with a delicate round topper and a tiny black bowtie around the neck. Top notes include tangerine, honeyed mandarin orange, ginger and freshly-cut lemon grass. The middle notes blend licorice, lavender, neroli, cardamom and black pepper. The base notes smooth out this bursting fragrance with amber, sandalwood, cedar and oak moss. This cologne
is packed with a multitude of fresh, summer scents, making it ideal for daytime wear.
Penhaligon’s is an established perfume company that first opened in 1870. It was a staple shop in London for decades. The first shop was located on Jermyn Street until 1941 when it was demolished during the Blitz. In 1956, the Duke of Edinburgh issued the company a Royal Warrant to rebuild and continue producing quality toiletries. Today, the company has many new fragrances, but holds to true to the original designs with the “Anthology Collection,” a line of fragrances inspired by the original scents.
