Olfactive Studio Still Life by Olfactive Studio Perfume.
Olfactive Studio Still Life, which was first launched in 2011, is a spicy and citrusy scent that celebrates life. It starts out with top notes of elemi, yuzu and black, Sichuan and pink peppers. The heart features galbanum and star anise. Cedar, ambrox and dark rum round out the base.
This fragrance was one of the first three perfumes created by Olfactive Studio. Celine Verleure started the line in 2011 after years of experience in the
industry. She began the brand after launching a blog about fragrances that had not yet been produced. The company blends perfumery and modern photography, which, like fragrances, captures a moment in time. Still Life was introduced alongside two other camera-themed fragrances, Autoportrait and Chambre Noire. Verleure originally came up with these names and sent them to photographers for interpretation. The resulting pictures served as the inspiration for the perfumers. Still Life, in particular, was based on photos by Frederic Lebain.
