Nina Ricci was born Maria Nielli in Italy, in 1883. She
founded the label with her son Robert in 1932. Its designs for women were known for being feminine and romantic and this theme continued when it launched its first fragrance in 1946. The striking bottle for this perfume makes it a welcome addition to any dressing table. It is in the shape of an apple and is pink with a gold stopper that represents the stalk. Pink and white crystals adorn the top, sparkling like jewels.
With her son, Robert, Nina Ricci opened her elegant Parisian couture house in 1932, specializing in luxury fashion and fragrance. Madame Ricci exuded a flair for fashion, capturing the personality of her clients in her designs for them.
