La Fumee Classic by Miller Harris Perfume. La Fumee Classic is a unisex potpourri of oriental accords, earthy and spicy.
Starting the sequence are strong notes of coriander, smoky incense, sweet caraway, and various citruses, in addition to the sundry shades of cardamom and elemi resins. The woody heart notes are Virginia cedar, papyrus, and creamy sandalwood for a smooth, dry transition. A deep foundation of dark French labdanum and birch finish the scent with a phenolic touch.
Harris released La Fumee Classic in 2011 for men and women. It’s bottled in a flacon that features their trademark botanical design. The nose behind this fragrance is Lyn Harris, a British perfumer who also created this line. Mathieu Nardin is another perfumer who has collaborated with this brand. Miller Harris, located in London, is a niche design house that has sold fragrances since 2000. Their latest came out in 2017. The company also sells scented candles, body oils, body creams, hand lotions, and aftershave.
