Luxor Oud by Memo Perfume. A fruity oud fragrance launched in 2012, Luxor Oud honors the city of Luxor on the Nile River in Egypt and paints a
picture of the history-rich town. Sun-drenched mandarin orange and dark patchouli fill out the top notes, with sweet desert rose and zesty fruits in the middle heart notes. Base notes of warm labdanum and rich agarwood (oud) round out the fruits and flowers of the top and middle notes. Alienor Massenet is the nose behind this sweet, unisex scent.
Founded in 2007, the Memo Paris fragrance house comes from two travelers that bring the inspiration of their adventures to their work with perfumes. John and Clara Molloy hail from Ireland and Andalusia, respectively, and have worked their world travel experiences into their fragrances, together with perfumer Alienor Massenet. Clara is also a perfume writer and publisher, and has released three volumes of fragrance industry works through the name of the house.
