Montecristo by Masque Milano Perfume. A rich, compelling unisex scent that leans masculine, Montecristo is a woody and spicy aromatic fragrance that
exudes warmth and comfort. The opening is a boozy, enveloping effusion of rum infused with aromatic tones of ambrette seed, tobacco and cabreuva wood. Deep leather and amber nuances of labdanum dominate the heart, mingled with hints of vanilla and warm, earthy hints of celery seed. Animalic and wood accords in the base merge hyrax with Guaiac wood,
cedar and patchouli, leaving a lingering spicy musk trail that’s perfect for cold weather wear.
Perfumer Delphine Thierry designed this fragrance as part of the Act. I collection. The composition was introduced by niche Italian label Masque Milano in 2013. Other popular scents by this luxe house include the smoky green fragrance Russian Tea (2014), the woody aromatic Terralba (2013), the earthy aromatic (homage to) Hemingway (2018) and the smoky white floral scent Luci ed Ombre (2013).
