Marc Jacobs was born in 1963 in New York and graduated from Parson’s School of Design with some of the school’s highest honors. After graduating, he created and sold a collection of hand-knitted sweater and eventually began to design under a collection bearing his own name. He also began creating specialty perfumes, such as Daisy, which has become one of the most popular fragrances worn by women.
