First released in 2016, Pearl is part of the Christmas Collection by French design house Mancera. Other fragrances in the series include Aoud Orchid, Choco Violet, Holidays, Coco Vanille and Sicily, all launched in 2016. The brand's founder and primary perfume artist is Pierre Montale, who founded the company in 2008. In 2017 Montale's daughter, Amelie, became the house's artistic director.
