Mancera Black Prestigium by Mancera Perfume. Launched in 2015, Mancera Black Prestigium is a women’s and men’s shared leather fragrance.
It is best used as a fall and winter evening scent. The top notes of orris root, bergamot, and bergamot begin the performance, with oud, rose, violet, and woodsy notes in the middle. The presentation ends with base notes of leather, amber, and white musk.
The flacon is black glass and has a vertical gold label with black print from the neck to the base of
the bottle. There is also a matching gold cap. Pierre Montale is the founder of Mancera as well as its nose. The niche perfume house was established in 2008 to offer Western-style, lighter and fresher versions of the Arab-influenced fragrances that he became known for with his Montale brand, which he started in 2003. Montale was inspired by the ingredients and the intensity levels found in Middle East fragrances after working for perfumeries in Qatar and Dubai.
