Mancera Aoud Violet by Mancera Perfume. Mancera Aoud Violet is a women’s chypre floral perfume that was introduced in 2014.
It has top notes of bergamot, green notes, and spices, along with middle notes of violet, patchouli, and oud. Moss, vetiver, and amber make up the base notes. The fragrance wears best on fall and winter nights.
The Art Deco-style glass flacon shows a golden-yellow liquid and has a white label with the fragrance and brand names in black print. The cap is
charcoal-colored. Mancera is one of two brands founded by perfumer Pierre Montale, who got his start in his family’s fragrance business, Comptoir Sud Pacifique. After 15 years, the company was sold and he left France to work in perfumeries in Qatar and Dubai. Upon his return to France in 2003, he founded Montale, which was dedicated to oud-based fragrances. Five years later, he created this brand to offer lighter and fresher alternatives that still used Arab ingredients.
