Mancera Aoud Black Candy
Was really hoping for more of a black candy scent with this one and that it would have more licorice/anise type notes. Upon first spray, there's kind of a strange celery type scent. That does go away but, still there's not much depth to this. What little oud exists, if any, quickly deteriorates. There are better fragrances out there if you're wanting licorice. Once it dries down, there's little to nothing left on my skin, no sweetness, just a bit of scent like notes you'd get from wearing a men's or unisex fragrance at the end of the day or evening. I'm gonna mix it with anise or licorice fragrance oil while wearing in order to get a better 'black candy' scent. Hopefully, others will have better luck. Also, when I first took the cap off the bottle, it came apart in three pieces and fell on the floor. Now, the top has to be taken off in two places and then screwed back on. One piece doesn't even fit back into the lid anymore. A bit of a downer.
