Ziryab by Majda Bekkali Perfume. Ziryab, a unisex scent, is named for the 9th century astronomer and musician who lived in the courts of Andalusia.
This perfume captures his allure, radiance, and artistry in an exquisite green bottle shimmering with gold accents. Opening with a single top note of tulip, this fragrance is immediately sweet and floral. The heart features middle notes of saffron, oud, and atlas cedar for warmth and depth. The dry down is based on the note amber, imparting a
sensual and exotic foundation to the perfume. Long lasting and with heavy sillage, this is a fragrance to wear for special ocassions.
Majda Bekkali was born in Fez, Morocco. At the age of 18 she moved to Paris to study art history. Her love of art and the Moroccan culture she left behind became the influences for her perfume house, established in 2009. She works with several famous noses including Delphine Thierry and Cecile Zarokian.
