Tulaytulah by Majda Bekkali Perfume. The city of Toledo, Spain, is an outlier in human history.
Sitting right on the ancient border of three great religions – Christianity, Islam and Judaism – it’s famous for its religious tolerance and mixing of different cultures into a unique blend. Majda Bekkali Tulaytulah was launched in 2015 to commemorate the sights, smells and sounds of this remarkable area, known as “Tulay-Tulah” in Hebrew and Arabic. The top is very
natural and compelling – and a bit nostalgic. Sweet and powdery cherry blossoms melt into a woody, damp cypress and pungent, licorice-like star anise. In the heart, almond adds a scrumptious, nutty note, joined by tropical frangipani and the complex aromas of malt. The base is arousing and sensual; animalic white suede, seductive Tonka bean and sexy vanilla are unmistakably flirtatious. The dry-down is long lasting with a moderate sillage; the impact will delight the senses.
Majda Bekkali was born into a noble family and dedicated her life from an early age to studying the arts and nature. In 2009, she formed her own perfume house to create some of the most desired Parisian fragrances in the world.
