Lumiere Noire Femme by Maison Francis Kurkdjian Perfume. Lumiere Noire Femme is a women’s chypre floral perfume from 2009.
It combines fragrance notes of rose, narcissus, patchouli, caraway, and red chili pepper. The scent can be worn during spring and fall months, day or night.
The bottle is simple and square, with the brand and fragrance names printed on the face. The flacon reveals yellow gold liquid and is topped by a gold, squared cap. Maison Francis Kurkdjian is the eponymous niche
fragrance house founded by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian in 2009. Kurkdjian studied at Isipca, the renowned perfume school in Versailles, France, and joined flavors and fragrances producer Quest International in 1993. He opened a bespoke fragrance atelier in 2001 and entered a business partnership with Marc Chaya to launch this brand. In 2017, the brand was sold to Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (Lvmh) but Kurkdjian continues his role as the creative director and master perfumer while Chaya is the president.
