Maison Francis Kurkdjian is the
French niche perfume house founded by this celebrated perfumer and his business partner, Marc Chaya, in 2009. Kurkdjian began his studies at Isipca, the renowned school for perfumes and comestics, in Versailles, France, in 1990. Upon graduation in 1993, he landed a position at Quest International and gained notoriety for creating Le Male for Jean Paul Gaultier, his first successful fragrance. Lvmh purchased the company in 2017 with Chaya remaining the company's chief executive officer and Kurkdjian serving as its creative director.
