Aqua Di Roma Perfume

This is a classic, it's been around and I know some women who will wear nothing else - my mother! Everyone birthday we replenish her supply. She loves it and we love it on her. It is who she is, we wouldn't recognize her without her Chanel.

Classic and beautiful, high pitched, soft, dry and enchanting. Very heady; the original and difinitive aldehydic fragrance. The jasmine and ylang-ylang are the only flowers I can single out, but the composition seems to suggest that they crafted an entirely new species of flower; it smells almost natural and obviously floral, but completely unlike any flower I've ever smelled. Like a hybrid of jasmine and French-maid.

This scent is not for little girls, its to heavy for teenagers, but just right for those coming into their twenties and older. Marilyn Monroe wore this scent back in the day i have been told by someone i knew from old hollywood! The perfume has not changed so its certainly a reminder of that time and what was considered ellegance. Which I can understand why some folks think its a older woman smell cause our grandmas were once young ladies back in that day... however, it does not mean the perfume is no longer classy or out of fashion. Its a statement that will last. As long as diamonds and blue jeans are in style so will Chanel No 5! A little goes a long way though. You will not be sorry you buy this. Wonderful

Chanel 5 is a classic and very memorable fragrance. Possibly the most famous perfume! It's scents of flowers and jasmine makes for a perfect and desirable scent! One of my favorites in my collection, I always put this on for important events and when I feel elegant and sophisticated.

A fragrance I have been familiar with for a long Time. A truly sensual perfume. The entire collection of perfumes colgnes and powders all are very long lasting. One of my favorites I think it's well worth the money

I have always loved Chanel No. 5. When I was a teenager my older brother bought it for me for Christmas and I thought I was very grown up to be wearing Chanel No. 5. I am 60 years old and no matter what perfume I buy and wear, nothing compares to Chanel No. 5. Over the years my husband has bought me many Chanel No. 5 products and it was always a hightlight when I got some for Christmas.

Chanel No.5 is not for the faint of heart, and the blast of aldehydes when you first spray it on may take some getting used to for people more accustomed to today's light fruity florals and bakery-scented gourmands. Give it some time. If you're lucky, it will dry down to a lovely powdery floral on your skin, men will compliment you as you walk by, and you'll understand why it's a classic.

This has always been my favorite perfume! I think it's the best smell anyone can wear.

Ahhhhh, Chanel #5 evokes a lot of sweet memories..I preferred the cologne as to it's lightness and wore it every day for 34 yrs..right up until my husband passed away...chanel was the gift of choice for many birthdays and especially at Christmas time....when ever I hd to take any clothes to the dry cleaners, was always complimented that I had the best smelling clothes...it took awhile before I could wear that cologne again...but enjoy it now more than ever.....Yes...I did remarry.... When I think of the word perfume, I think of chanel no. 5 immediately. I can still remember as a little child putting some on my wrists from my grandmother's vial. It really is in all essences of the word, a "classic" scent. It is fairly strong as well: a little goes a long way. But it makes you feel luxurious when you wear it. It may be expensive, but to me, it is worth the price.

The ultimate classic fragrance. Better for women over 30 or so. Great to put on after you shower if you want the fragrance to last all day. Best for nights out. Not so good for daytime because it can be strong. Great website to buy from!

Chanel #5 is a glorious, long lasting scent, and I would encourage every woman to at least try a sample of it in her local department store. I happened across it at Neiman Marcus, and I was hooked! Chanel #5 is a strong, warm scent with subtle Oriental notes. Geat thing about Chanel #5 is it's staying power.. With Chanel #5, you can expect to stay fragrant after a long day of work or school. On a personal note, I seem to become bored of perfumes after wearing them for a few weeks. This has not been the case with Chanel #5, as I like it even more now than when I first bought it. This is such a beautiful fragrance, and has all the makings of a Chanel Classic I encourage you to drop by your local department store and spritz yourself liberally. You won't be able to resist buying some!

This is a beautiful perfume that I use often. The one thing nice about it, besides how good it smells, is that you only need such a small amount and it lasts all day.

Chanel No. 5 has been around for what seems forever it is a classic flowery perfume, made up of the smell of jasmine and rose blended with sandalwood, vanilla cedar and musk.I find it so light and refreshing but not too overwhelming to your nose. I like to wear it at night, especially when I go to bed at night just like Marilyn Monroe. Makes me feel sexy

Chanel No 5 is THE scent for a glamourous, classy woman! Wearing this will make you feel beautiful, special and adored. I would recomend this for the more mature woman who is in control of her world. Not all women can wear such a sophisticated scent with grace and charm. This perfume is classic and the scent is unmistakeable. You will get noticed by wearing this. It is somewhat strong but not overpowering or obnoxious. This is a great gift for that special woman in your life.

Chanel No.5 , what a first great gift to me from my husband. Now i use this every time i am going out. it makes me feel important and happy. it has added a new line of fragrance for me, which i love it. its comes in a nice pacakge. i also tried body mist and hand lotion from this line. great products...

This is not one of my faves but my mom loves it - it's her favorite perfume. It just doesn't do it for me - not a scent I like.

Gosh I am just not that big of a fan of Chanel perfumes. I find them overprices and overhyped. I think this one smells average at best. When I first apply it smells to stong and for a mature woman. I thought that it would fade nicely but I swear when it fades it smells like a common powder or even a common soap. Well, at least you can say it is a clean fragrance. I know this scent is very popular but I am not in the norm I guess.

I bought this perfume awhile ago. I am not impress with the scent of this perfume. It is heavy and overly sweet, in my opinion. It did stay longer in my clothes for hours than any other brand. It is definitely a classic perfume that my mother likes it alot.

What can be said about No. 5 except it is a classic by being around for what seems like forever. There has to be many a women who has at one time or another who has tried or thier mother has tried No. 5 sometime in their life. Why, I have no clue. Granted the name and recognition is forever associted with channel but the essence has never been changed to lighten it. For myself , I always found it to be excessively strong almost to the point of smelling like pure alcohol. Not to offend other ladies who adore No. 5 but I cannot say I am a fan nor do I think I ever will be.

Chanel No.5 is considered to be a classic, and really I don't see how it has been so popular over the past 80+ years that it has been around. It is very strong compared to most women's scents, and it is very musky. It reminds me of the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Very traditional and old-fashioned. It is classy, I must admit that. Also it lasts for a long time. If you spray a little bit on you in the department store, it'll stay on you until you take a shower. Chanel No. 5 is musky. Personally I prefer fruity smells. (Plus, I can't fathom what flower would produce this distinctive smell.)

Honestly, I recieved Chanel #5 as a gift and am totally not impressed with it. It has a real "bite" to the scent and I think it is totally overpriced if you buy it retail. Maybe I like simple and modest things, but this is not for me. If you must try it, buy it from here because they really do have the best price. Perhaps it is not the smell everyone likes, but the status of wearing "Chanel #5"?

I realize this is one of the best selling fragrances of all time and that many women and men adore it. But I hate it! To me it is very chemically smelling, artificial (almost like mouthwash). I feel terrible giving it such a bad review knowing how much some people love it. I got a sample and put it on before I was leaving the house and thankfully had only put a small amount on my wrist so I was able to wash it off.

This is one of those polarizing scents: you either love it or hate it. I really dislike this, as it doesn't work with my chemistry. It smells like fake flowers on me. On others, it's divine. Go figure.
