Via Condotti Pour Homme by Lancetti Cologne.
First released in 2001 by Italian design house Lancetti, Via Condotti Pour Homme is an oriental gourmand fougère that is not for the faint of heart. Woods and florals fuse with citrus and aromatics to produce a compelling, distinctly masculine fragrance. The top notes are brisk and aldehydic, combining sweet-tart mandarin and star anise. Narcotic jasmine and deep red rose mingle with heliotrope, cyclamen and lily of the valley to form a warm heart
that quickly blends into a smooth, lingering finish. The dry down is an earthy-smooth vetiver and vanilla accord softened with sandalwood, musk and tawny amber.
Pino Lancetti was born in the Perugian town of Gualdo Tadino. During the period between the mid and late 1950s until 2001, when he retired, he was among the inner circle of haute couture designers in Italy. The first fragrance released under the brand's name was Via Condotti Pour Femme in 1985, and the most recent to be launched were the Celebration Collection for women.
