At the heart are elemi, nutmeg, sage, artemisia, and cinnamon notes. In the bottom are notes of iris, cedar, sandalwood, vanilla, tonka bean, and musk. Krizia was founded in Milan, Italy by designer Mariuccia Mandelli in 1954. The brand experienced rapid growth during the 1960s and 1970s as one of Italy’s first ready-to-wear fashion houses, with Mandelli being one of the first to introduce “very short” shorts, a precursor to the trendy hot pants of the 1970s. The brand was sold to Shenzhen Marisfrolg, a Chinese retail group, in 2014. Morris Profumi currently holds the brand’s fragrance license.
