Gourmandises by Keiko Mecheri Perfume. Some scents are light and airy, perfect for a springtime tea party. Gourmandises is not one of those scents.
Heady and seeped in romance, the 2004 fragrance by Keiko Mecheri is rich in musky top notes with sweet hints of rose and praline. Clean, powdery notes join in next, a floral hint of saffron hiding behind the spicy warmth of ambrette middle notes. Base notes left in this intoxicating perfume's wake are natural Kashmir wood. Let this intoxicating
fragrance be the one you go to for date night and want to send out an especially flirty vibe.
Although the perfume company is owned by Ms. Mecheri herself, this particular scent was created by European perfumer Yann Vasnier. Born in Brittany, France, Monsieur Vasnier decided to create perfumes for a living when he was 19 years old. He graduated with honors from the Isipca (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum, de la Cosmétique et de l’Aromatique Alimentaire, a prestigious perfume school in his home country) He credits the inspiration for his scents to be growing up in his parents' rose gardens in the countryside.
